Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of Cashit's website, device valuation, pickup and device-selling services. Please read them carefully before using our services.

Last Updated: September 2026

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") apply to the use of Cashit's website, platform and related services ("Services"). References to "Cashit", "we", "us" or "our" refer to the operator of the Cashit platform. References to "you", "your" or "user" refer to any person accessing the platform or using our Services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing the Cashit platform, requesting a device valuation, scheduling a pickup, submitting a device for inspection or otherwise using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our applicable policies.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the Services.

2. Eligibility

You must be legally capable of entering into a binding transaction under applicable law to independently sell a device through Cashit.

Where a person is not legally competent to enter into such a transaction independently, the transaction must be carried out through a parent, legal guardian or other person legally authorised to act on their behalf.

3. Services Offered

Cashit provides a platform through which eligible users may obtain an estimated value and offer used electronic devices for sale. Supported categories may include smartphones, laptops, tablets, smartwatches and other electronic devices displayed on the platform.

Device categories, supported locations, pickup availability, valuation criteria and other Service features may change from time to time.

4. Online Quotes & Estimated Value

Any price displayed before physical verification is an indicative or estimated value based on the device information provided by you and the valuation criteria applicable at that time.

An online quote does not constitute a guaranteed purchase price. The final value may increase, decrease or remain unchanged after inspection of the actual device.

5. Device Inspection & Final Valuation

Every device may be inspected and tested before the transaction is completed. Inspection may include verification of the model, storage capacity, physical condition, display, battery, cameras, buttons, connectivity, charging, speakers, microphones, biometric functions, serial number, IMEI and other relevant hardware or software functions.

If the actual condition or specification differs from the information submitted during the quotation process, Cashit may provide a revised final offer.

You may accept or reject a revised offer before completing the sale, subject to the stage of the transaction and applicable law.

6. Device Ownership & Authority to Sell

By offering a device for sale, you represent that you are the lawful owner of the device or are legally authorised by the lawful owner to sell it.

The device must not be stolen, unlawfully obtained, subject to an unresolved ownership dispute, or sold in violation of any applicable contractual or legal restriction.

Cashit may reject a device or suspend a transaction if ownership cannot be reasonably verified or if the device is suspected to be lost, stolen, fraudulently obtained or otherwise unlawful.

7. Device Locks, Accounts & Restrictions

Before completing a sale, you are responsible for removing personal accounts and disabling applicable security or activation locks, including features such as Find My, Activation Lock, Google account protection and similar manufacturer or account-based restrictions.

Devices subject to unresolved activation locks, enterprise management restrictions, financing restrictions, carrier restrictions or other limitations may be rejected or valued differently.

8. Identity & Transaction Verification

Cashit may request information or documentation reasonably required to verify your identity, ownership of the device, transaction details or payment information, subject to applicable law and our Privacy Policy.

We may decline, pause or cancel a transaction where required information is unavailable, inconsistent or reasonably suspected to be inaccurate or fraudulent.

9. Personal Data on Devices

You are responsible for backing up any information you wish to retain before handing over your device.

You should remove personal accounts, SIM cards, memory cards and personal information and, where appropriate, perform a factory reset before completing the transaction.

Cashit does not guarantee the recovery or preservation of data remaining on a device after it has been submitted or sold. Treatment of personal information collected through the platform is governed by our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

10. Pickup & Handover

Pickup availability depends on location, device eligibility, operational capacity and other applicable conditions.

Pickup dates and time slots are estimates unless expressly confirmed otherwise. Delays may occur due to traffic, weather, operational issues, incorrect address information or other circumstances beyond reasonable control.

11. Payments

Payment is based on the final value accepted for the device after applicable verification and inspection.

Payment may be made through the payment methods supported by Cashit at the time of the transaction. You are responsible for providing accurate payment details.

Processing times may be affected by banks, payment networks, technical failures, incorrect payment information or other circumstances outside Cashit's reasonable control.

12. Completion of Sale

A sale is considered completed when the device has been accepted following verification, you have accepted the final purchase value, and the transaction has been confirmed by Cashit.

Once a transaction has been completed and ownership has been transferred, cancellation or return may not be available except where required by applicable law or expressly agreed by Cashit.

13. Cancellation

You may request cancellation of a pickup or proposed transaction before the sale is completed.

Cashit may also cancel or refuse a transaction where a device fails verification, information is inaccurate, ownership is disputed, fraudulent activity is suspected, the device is not eligible for purchase, or completion of the transaction would violate applicable law.

14. Prohibited Transactions

You must not use Cashit to sell or attempt to sell devices that are stolen, counterfeit, unlawfully obtained, materially misrepresented, or subject to restrictions that prevent their lawful transfer.

You must not provide false identity, ownership, condition, payment or device information or otherwise use the Services for fraudulent or unlawful activity.

15. Fraud Prevention & Legal Compliance

Cashit may take reasonable measures to prevent fraud, verify transactions and comply with applicable legal obligations.

Where required or permitted by law, information relating to a suspected unlawful transaction may be preserved or disclosed to competent authorities in accordance with applicable legal requirements.

16. Platform Availability

We aim to keep the Cashit platform and Services available, but continuous or uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed.

Access may be temporarily limited due to maintenance, updates, technical issues, security requirements, network failures or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

17. Intellectual Property

The Cashit website and its original content, branding, graphics, interface elements, software and other materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Nothing in these Terms grants you ownership of Cashit's intellectual property. Third-party trademarks, product names and logos remain the property of their respective owners.

18. Third-Party Services

Certain features may depend on third-party services such as payment providers, communication providers, logistics partners or other service providers.

Third-party services may be subject to their own terms, policies and availability.

19. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Cashit will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential losses arising from use of the platform or Services.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability, warranty, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.

20. User Responsibility

You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for ensuring that your use of Cashit and any device offered for sale complies with these Terms and applicable law.

You may be responsible for losses or claims resulting from fraudulent information, unlawful ownership, unauthorised sale of a device or other material breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

21. Privacy

Personal information collected in connection with your use of Cashit is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection and privacy requirements.

You should review the Privacy Policy together with these Terms before using the Services.

22. Suspension or Refusal of Service

Cashit may restrict, suspend or refuse access to all or part of the Services where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, misuse of the platform or a material violation of these Terms.

23. Changes to Services

Cashit may modify, add, remove, suspend or discontinue features, supported device categories, valuation methods, service areas or other parts of the Services from time to time.

Any completed transaction remains subject to the terms applicable to that transaction and applicable law.

24. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our Services, business practices or legal requirements.

The latest version will be made available on the Cashit platform together with its effective or last-updated date. Continued use of the Services after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by applicable law.

25. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms and transactions conducted through Cashit are governed by the applicable laws of India.

Any dispute shall be handled in accordance with applicable law before a court or other competent authority having lawful jurisdiction. Nothing in these Terms restricts any mandatory rights or remedies available to consumers under applicable law.

26. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be interpreted or limited to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the extent permitted by law.

27. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any transaction-specific terms presented to you, constitute the applicable agreement governing your use of Cashit's Services.
